About Us
Teaching Program
At EagleView Optometry, we are proud to be a teaching clinic dedicated to shaping the next generation of eye care professionals. Our student doctors are in the final months of their optometric education and are on the path to becoming fully licensed doctors. They bring fresh perspectives, evidence-based practices, and innovative approaches to patient care—enhancing the services we provide to the Cowichan Valley community.
Under the mentorship of Dr. Unterberger, who has been a professor at Pacific University College of Optometry since 2017, student doctors receive exceptional hands-on clinical training while delivering high-quality, comprehensive eye care. As a teaching facility, EagleView Optometry combines experienced supervision with forward-thinking clinical practice, ensuring patients receive attentive, thorough care while supporting outstanding optometric education.
Together, our team is committed to advancing eye health through compassionate service, modern clinical techniques, and a strong foundation in learning.
